If anyone out there has a Shaw Internet Modem, then listen up!
Shaw has been busy up-grading a LOT of techy shit in the last couple months, they have been laying fiber optic cable, and thats kinda a big deal for Fernie. So....there is a new faster modem available. The new modem is designed to deliver improved performance and enhanced services, this means you'llhave access to the fasted internet speeds in town. Plus, if you're already a Shaw High-Speed Internet customer, upgrading your modem means you'll now get "Powerboost" and extra 5-20 second burst of download speed for FREE.
But! You gotta go exchange your current blue modem for the new fast one at the Shaw Office in the Annex, 691 9th Ave on these dates only:
Feb 4 and 5th 10am-6pm
Feb 6 9am-5pm.
Cool. This Fibre Optic cable also means Digital Phone is coming to Fernie soon. But who wants a landline these days anyway??
